February 24th Forest Glen Golf Club Invitational
Five Eagle Creek 9-Hole League members took their retro style on the road to Forest Glen Golf & Country Club for the “50’s Rock Around the Golf Course” Invitational. Dressed in poodle skirts and fabulous 50’s accessories, Rosemary Coletta, Joni McLaughlin, Sandy Rye, Ellen Stigter, and Louie Peeler brought plenty of vintage flair to the fairways. Rosemary’s team danced their way into third place, with Ellen’s team finishing strong in fourth in a field of 26 teams!
February 17th Imperial Golf Club Invitational
Six Eagle Creek 9 Hole League golf members attended Imperial Country Club’s Invitational. The theme was Birdies on Broadway and they were to dress as characters from their favorite Broadway show. The group chose“ Waitress” as their theme.
Joni McLaughlin's team came in First place. Three out of the six Eagle Creek ladies that attended won gift baskets.
Much fun was had by all!!!

January 20th Countryside Jolly Roger Invitational
EC 9 hole ladies are on a winning streak -- Louie Peeler's team took first and Joni McLaughlin's team came in fourth at the recent Countryside Jolly Roger Invitational. Also participating in the event were Colette Donnelly and Melanie Wilson.
The TwinEagles Club Invitational on January 6, 2026
Ellen Stigter, Andrea Maldegen, Sandy Rye and Rosemary Coletta put on their best cowgirl gear for the "Annie get Your Clubs" themed event.
Sandy Rye was on the winning team.
Vanderbilt Country Club Invitational on October 23, 2025
Vanderbilt Country Club hosted a "What's Cooking" invitational.
Attending from Eagle Creek were Andrea Maldegen, Bobbi Bockelman, Sandy Rye, and Louie Peeler. Sandy was the big winner of the day: her foursome took first place, she won the table centerpiece, and she also landed one of the raffle prizes!
A great time was had by all!
