Two players, known as partners, compete as a single team. The team plays with only one golf ball. The partners take turns hitting the ball, starting with a tee shot from one player and then alternating for each subsequent shot until the ball is holed. Typically, one player takes the tee shot on odd-numbered holes, while the other tees off on even-numbered holes.
Each player plays their own ball on every hole.
On each hole, the number of team scores that count depends on the par:
Par-3s: 3 best balls
Par-4s: 2 best balls
Par-5s: 1 best ball
If it looks like your score won’t count toward the team score, you may pick up once you reach your maximum.
Your individual scores will be entered into GHIN.

Each player plays their own ball throughout the round. You are teamed up with another player for purposes of scoring. Scoring is based on net scores.
On each hole, two points are available:
• Low Score Point – The team with the lowest individual net score on the hole (out of all four players) gets a point.
• High Score Point – The team with the lowest of the “worst” score of the two teams gets a point.
• If there is a tie for either the low or high score, each team receives ½ point.

There are several types of Scramble games:
Scramble (4 person team)
All players tee off, then the team selects the best shot. All players play their next shot from that spot. Continue selecting the best shot and playing from that location until the ball is holed.
Each player's drive must be used at least once during the 9-hole round. Scramble – Dice: This is a 4-person format. A roll of the dice determines the person’s drive to be used on each hole.
Step-Aside Scramble (4 person team)
All players tee off. The team selects the best shot, and the player who hit that shot sits out the next stroke. The remaining three players hit from the chosen spot, and this process continues until the ball is on the green.
Once on the green, all players may putt.
2 Person Scramble (2 person team)
Same as a Scramble, except there are only two people on a team. Both players tee off, then they select the best shot and hit the next shot from there. They continue selecting the best shot until the ball is holed.
Each player's drive must be used at least once during the 9-hole round.
Scramble - Dice (4 person team)
A roll of the dice determines the person’s drive to be used on each hole.
Scramble - Cards (4 person team)
Each person receives a card. Before each drive the cards are shuffled to determine whose drive will be used on each hole.
Each player plays their own ball for the entire round. Your game score is your total net score minus the net score on your worst hole.
Your individual scores will be entered into GHIN.
