EVENT DESCRIPTION

Welcome Back Cocktail Party - (9 Holer & Guest) To be held on the clubhouse veranda.

New Member Orientation - New members of the 9 Hole Ladies League are invited to an informal meeting where helpful league information will be given out. The first new member orientation is Thursday, January 8th, 2026 following the morning's casual golf time.  Additional dates may be added as needed.

Queens Classic - A 2-day Ringer Score (best score on each hole) played on the Back 9.  Sweeps are awarded for the various flights and one overall winner is crowned the Queen.  Renters are not eligible for prizes in this event.  ALL members are encouraged to play - get out there and play your game - this is not just for the "better" players.

Mixer - This is a 3 PM shotgun event where a 9 Hole Ladies League member may invite a “cart mate” to play in a team game.  Cart mates can be friends, spouses or any other golfer.  Following golf there is a themed dinner and sweeps are awarded.

9/18 Member Day - This event is hosted in alternating years by the 9 Hole Ladies League and the 18 hole ECWGA. This year the Ladies 9 Hole League will host the 18 Hole ECWGA members to play 9 holes of golf. Luncheon to follow.  Each person will be billed for golf cart + Lunch.

Charity Event - On alternating years with the Invitational, we hold a golf event to raise money for a charity of our choice.  After nine holes of golf we will gather for a luncheon. The chosen charity will be presented with a check before Closing Day. This year this event will be held on March 5, 2026.

Invitational  - We host outside clubs for this major event that is held every other year. Members are encouraged to play and are charged the entry fee, including cart fees, lunch, and tips.  Raffle baskets and decorations are created around a festive theme. This event was held last year on March 6th, 2025.

Championship  - A 2-day event: one day on the front 9 and the other on the back 9.  ALL 9 Hole Ladies League members with established handicaps are encouraged to play.  Renters cannot play in this event.  The overall 9 Hole Ladies League Champion is the golfer with the lowest gross score for 18 holes.  However, there are also two flights with first and second-place net winners.   Our champion is greeted at a luncheon following play. Winners are given their awards at our closing luncheon in April.

Handicap Limit - For tournament play the handicap limit is 20 for 9 holes. Tuesday games or any day that sweeps are paid out are considered to be tournament days.

TUESDAY GAMES

There will be 1 or 2 Team Game Events each month with various formats.  The following is a list of some of them:  Scramble, 1 Best Ball of 4, 2 Best Balls of 4, 1-2-1, and Alternate Shot. 

There will also be 1 or 2 Individual Games each month.  The following is a list of some of them:  Low Net/Low Gross, Low Putts, Trash Day, Tee to Green, Odds or Evens, Individual Stableford.
